Trusted by fleet owners, leasing, rental, and insurance companies. Fixico has managed hundreds of thousands of repairs for companies ranging from the world's biggest brands to local players.
Fixico is on a constant upward trajectory and rapidly expanding throughout Europe. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented research student to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to our strategic goals by conducting comprehensive market and competitor research. This role is perfect for someone who is analytical, enjoys data collection and trend analysis, and is keen to support impactful business decisions.
Internship Overview
We’re seeking a motivated Strategy Intern to join our team to analyse our competitive landscape and validate our unique value proposition. You will conduct in-depth market research, identifying key competitors, their strategies, and market positioning. Additionally, you will design and execute research to evaluate Fixico’s added value compared to market standards, providing critical insights that will help us refine our offering and strengthen our market position.
Location: Remote or Amsterdam, Netherlands
Duration: 3-6 months
Hours a week: 32-40
Start Date: Preferably January
Responsibilities
Competitor Analysis
Analyse competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, and unique selling points (USPs) in our Dutch, Belgian and German market, as well as exploring international players
Track competitors' offerings, pricing models, customer acquisition strategies, and technological advancements
Compare and benchmark Fixico’s offerings against competitors, identifying areas where we excel and where we can improve
Value Proposition Validation
Develop and execute research initiatives to measure Fixico's added value compared to industry standards
Conduct interviews and surveys with customers and repairers to gather insights on Fixico's service effectiveness and perceived value
Synthesise findings into reports with actionable recommendations to support Fixico's positioning and product development strategies
Present key insights, trends, and recommendations to the Fixico leadership team, providing data-driven support for strategic decisions
Job requirements
Who You Are
A native Dutch speaker with excellent English skills
Currently pursuing or graduating in Economics, International Business, or MBA studies
Strong analytical skills, with experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative research
Interest in automotive technology, SaaS, and digital transformation
Experience with survey design, customer interviews, or similar research methods during your studies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Google sheets and slides
Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently
