What you will be doing
Our People & Culture team is looking for a Talent Acquisition & HR Intern with a driven personality, hands-on approach and an eagerness to learn. The People & Culture team is responsible for all people-related matters within Fixico. We are involved in all steps of the employee journey.
In this role you will report directly to our Head People and Culture. You will be involved in all aspects of recruitment, from creating job descriptions, to sourcing candidates, drafting the job offer and onboarding the candidates once they start. You will also be able to put your creative skills to use by assisting in the employer branding strategy and activities.
Next to recruitment, as an intern in the people team, you will also be able to gain insight into Human Resources activities, helping us make sure Fixico continues to be a top employer.
Your Responsibilities
Making sure the recruitment and hiring process is up to date and running smoothly
Drafting and updating job descriptions in our career website and job boards
Hunting, sourcing and reaching out to candidates for open and upcoming positions (Via LinkedIn)
Being the first point of contact for candidates for a variety of roles
Sourcing the right candidates from our talent pool to move forward in the application process
Collaborating with the Marketing department on creative employer branding strategies and campaigns
Scheduling and running introductory interviews for certain positions
Assisting in the creation and preparation of office events for our employees
Checking-in on new employees to ensure their satisfaction during the onboarding process
Maintaining our HR software (BambooHR) up to date
Developing and supporting the implementation of engagement activities
Job requirements
What we are looking for
You will be enrolled in higher education for (at least) half of the internship duration
You have a background in Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, Business Administration or similar studies
You are an excellent communicator and are not afraid to voice your opinion
You have an affinity for content creation and enjoy interacting with others
You are a team player and proactive with your work
You are fluent in English, both spoken and written; other european languages are a plus, but not necessary
You are available for 3-5 days a week for a period of 4 to 6 months
